HE'S NOT REALLY GONE

It Seems Too Much To Bare
This Loss Of Yours So Great.
We Know It's So Unfair
Be It Accident Or Fate.

I've Seen You Go From Loving Warmth
To Emptiness And Despair.
I've Tried Everything I Know
To Show How Much I Care.

I Didn't Really Know Him Long
But I Felt I Had A Friend.
I Never Dreamed A Life So Precious
Could Come So Quickly To An End.

He Was A Beautiful Child Indeed
With Blonde Hair And Eyes Of Blue.
His Loving Ways And Friendliness
I'm Sure He Got From You.

Our World Is Not Quite As Bright
Now That Your Randy's Gone.
I Know How Hard It's Been For You
To Endure And Carry On.

In This Poem I'm Sending You
All My Love And Prayers.
I Want You And Ronnie To Know
How Much I Really Care.

I'm Sure He Is In Heaven Now
Happy And At Play.
And Before He Knows You're Gone
You'll Be With Him To Stay.

So Live Life Right And Do The Things
You Know That You Should Do.
And When The Time Comes For You To Go
He'll Spend A Eternity With You.

Dedicated to Babs and Ronnie Rucker.

Written for Babs & Ronnie Rucker when
her 4 year old son drowned
in New Braunfels in the Comal River
at the Tube Chute
