BE GOD'S BEACON

God illuminates the world

To help us find our way.

God’s gifts of truth and love

Are like the light of day.

The Devil brings the night

Where doubt and fear abide

He blacks out truth and love

And gives sin a place to hide.

God through his love and grace

Has allowed each of us to choose

To hide in sin and darkness

Or to be a beacon God can use.

Do your desires of the flesh

Hide God’s precious light?

Are you feeling lost and alone

And hidden from God’s site?

God’s love and comfort await you

Take His Word into your heart.

When you embrace his Son Jesus

You get a brand new start.

God said “Let light shine out of darkness

And Jesus said, “I am the light of the world”

As you accept Jesus as your Savior

Your new life will be unfurled.

Our salvation is assured

And the devil’s kingdom we will weaken

As we walk with Jesus daily

And choose To Be God’s Beacon.
